Islamabad: The crescent moon marking the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan 1445 Hijri has been sighted across the country, with the first day of fasting to commence tomorrow, Tuesday.
The central moon sighting committee, chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, is currently holding a session in Peshawar to officially confirm the sighting of the Ramadan moon.
Simultaneously, zone committees are convening meetings nationwide to ascertain the visibility of the crescent moon.
The moon has been sighted in Lahore, and the formal announcement regarding the moon sighting will be made by the central moon sighting committee.

Additionally, the moon has also been sighted in Peshawar besides Lahore.
With the sighting of the moon, Muslims across the country are preparing to embark on the spiritual journey of fasting and devotion during the sacred month of Ramadan.
