ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Islamabad/Rawalpindi, in collaboration with the National Centre of Artificial Intelligence (NCAI), has initiated artificial intelligence (AI) technology into its investigation processes.
This initiative will help the bureau take a step forward in the probe of major and complex financial crimes, according to NAB.
The NAB Islamabad/Rawalpindi (region) has commenced making advanced AI technology to trace banking records, financial transactions, and detect money trails in high-profile financial cases.
“With these tools, investigators are now able to identify hidden connections and suspicious transactions with unprecedented speed and accuracy,” an official source said.
The two parties engaged in extensive talks on creating AI-based investigative modules, ensuring ongoing technological assistance, and bringing NAB’s investigation procedures into line with global best practices.
Dr. Ayaz, the chairman of NCAI, praised NAB’s efforts to integrate contemporary technologies into accountability procedures and promised complete collaboration.
The NCAI promised to provide NAB with all the technical support it may need to become Pakistan’s most technologically sophisticated accountability agency.
