The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has officially reopened its office in Madinah for Pakistani expatriates living in Saudi Arabia after a temporary closure during the Hajj 2026 season.

The Madinah Registration Centre resumed services on Sunday, July 12, 2026, following the successful conclusion of the annual pilgrimage and based on the directives of the Saudi authorities. “NADRA Madinah Registration Centre is operational now,” the authority announced in a tweet.

Previously, the NADRA office was closed since April 12, 2026, for the arrangement of Hajj, and has now resumed operations for Pakistani citizens residing in Madinah and adjacent cities.

The reopening of the Madinah centre would facilitate overseas Pakistanis with their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) services, including application submission, renewals, and modification requests.

Earlier, NADRA had intensified its activities at the Jeddah Registration Centre, one of the largest such facilities, due to the surge in applications prior to and following the Hajj period.

Overseas Pakistanis could apply for most identity document services, including new and renewal of NICOP, via the NADRA Pak ID mobile application.

For any assistance, Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia are advised to contact the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah.

NADRA Jeddah Registration Centre continues to be operational for overseas Pakistanis residing in the western region of Saudi Arabia for various services such as Smart NICOP application, renewals, and modifications.

The restoration of services in Madinah is a welcome move that will greatly benefit thousands of Pakistanis in the holy city and nearby areas.
