Islamabad: Thousands of citizens are benefiting from the facility of registering in the Union Council from home through the PakID app of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
According to a NADRA spokesperson, citizens are registering birth, death, marriage and divorce in the Union Council from home through the PakID app.
This facility is available in all districts of Punjab, 6 districts of Sindh (Karachi East, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Jamshoro, Tando Muhammad Khan and Tando Allahyar) and Quetta district of Balochistan.
The NADRA spokesperson says that work is underway to provide this facility in other areas and soon this facility will be available across Pakistan.
Citizens complete the required documents, submit the application through the PakID app and get their desired certificate from home.
The features of the app are:
Renew or modify ID card, NICOP and POC
- Free viewing of family member details
- All digital documents stored in one place in ID Vault
- Facility to generate B-Form and Family Registration Certificate
- Biometric verification for passport, succession certificate and transfer of Islamabad registered vehicles
