ISLAMABAD: NADRA continues to digitize the entire process, with remote setup also being arranged and an initiative launched as part of a broader effort to ensure that no citizen is left behind in the National Identification System, which is crucial for accessing education, healthcare, voting rights and other public services.
Starting August 4, NADRA announced a special registration drive for minority communities across Pakistan in connection with National Minorities Day, which will continue till August 11.
According to a statement shared by NADRA, the aim of the drive is to facilitate the issuance and renewal of identity documents for members of minority groups, to ensure their access to national services and rights.
“You too are entitled to equal rights like every other citizen,” the statement stressed NADRA’s commitment to equality and social harmony.
Citizens from minority communities are encouraged to visit NADRA’s mobile registration vans operating in their local areas or visit the nearest NADRA center during the campaign.
