KARACHI: The Commissioner of Karachi has issued a notification regarding the new official prices of sugar.
The wholesale price of sugar in Karachi has been fixed at Rs 140 per kg and the retail price at Rs 143 per kg.
The new prices of sugar will be implemented immediately, action will be taken against those selling contrary to the official prices.
The notification has asked all shopkeepers to display the official rate list in a prominent place, strict legal action will be taken against those selling sugar at a price higher than the fixed rate.
