Education department has announced summer timings for schools in Punjab capital city of Lahore with effect from April 15 (Monday).
After the Eidul Fitr holidays, which are observed from April 10 to April 14, all educational institutions are scheduled to reopen on April 15.
Since temperatures have begun to rise in the province, Lahore schools will reopen next week at their new times.
The department states that from Monday through Thursday, schools will open at 7:30 am and shut at 1:30 pm, while on Fridays, they will close at 12 pm.
Private Schools Summer Timings in Lahore from April 15
The private schools have also issued summer timings for play group to class 10. The schools will open at 7:30 am while closing timings are different for the classes.
While Nursery and Prep close at 12:30 pm, play group class to end at 11:30 am.
