Non-bailable arrest warrant issued for Aleema Khan in Rawapindi Protest Case

Court cancels all arrest warrants as Aleema Khan appears in protest case

RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Terrorism Court Rawalpindi issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan for her continued absence.

The cases registered against 11 accused including Aleema Khan on the November 26 protest were heard in the court of Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Anti-Terrorism Court Rawalpindi.

Apart from Aleema Khan, 10 accused named in the case appeared in the court while five prosecution witnesses also appeared in the court including the property case.

The court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for the third time for Aleema Khan’s non-appearance, and a non-bailable arrest warrant was also issued for Aleema Khan’s guarantor, Umar Sharif.

The court ordered the police to arrest Aleema Khan and produce her on October 22.

The Anti-Terrorism Court issued instructions to the DC Rawalpindi to verify the property documents of Aleema Khan’s guarantor.
