Pakistan reports 42 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 42 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,238,668. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 27,566 on Sunday. So far 1,160,412 patients have recovered in the country. Positivity rate of reported coronavirus cases on Sunday remained 3.98 percent in the country. So far 56,229,457 people have been partially vaccinated for coronavirus in country; meanwhile during the last 24 hours 345,202 people were vaccinated for coronavirus. So far 25,493,964 people have been fully vaccinated for coronavirus and 307,872 were vaccinated during the last 24 hours. So far 76,141,484 dozes of vaccine have been administered in whole country; meanwhile during the last 24 hours 623,473 dozes of vaccine were administered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,780 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2 percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus has reached 93.7 percent. During the last 24 hours 3,090 coronavirus patients were recovered in the country. There are 4,199 critical coronavirus patients present in the country. There are 50,690 active coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Punjab province has become at first position in number of total deaths from coronavirus pandemic; meanwhile Sindh province is on the second position. Meanwhile Sindh province has come on first position in terms of total reported cases of coronavirus, active coronavirus cases and recovered coronavirus cases in the country. On the other hand Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has come on third position in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 5,302 active coronavirus patients present in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There are 22,110 active coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 19,751 in Punjab, 2,293 active coronavirus in Islamabad, 228 in Balochistan, 806 in Azad Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 200 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 12,533 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 7,335 in Sindh 5,498 in KP, 915 in Islamabad, 735 in Azad Kashmir, 346 in Balochistan, and 184 in GB.
Furthermore 455,065 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 428,394 in Punjab 173,023 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 105,021 in Islamabad, 34,020 in Azad Kashmir, 32,849 in Balochistan and 10,296 in Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan has so far conducted 19,191, 787 coronavirus tests and 44,712 in the last 24 hours.
So far 425,620 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 396,090 coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 162,223 coronavirus patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 101,813 coronaviurs patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 32,275 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 32,479 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 9,912 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
