Pakistan restores passports & ID cards of attackers on Justice Qazi Faez Isa

ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has restored the revoked passports and identity cards of those who attacked former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa in London.

Last October, during a visit to the Middle Temple, protesters targeted his vehicle. Following the incident, Pakistan’s Interior Ministry had ordered action against the individuals involved and requested their extradition from the UK.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had announced that the citizenship revocation process would be initiated against the accused, but this process has now been stopped.

The identity documents of the individuals involved in the attack, who were allegedly affiliated with the PTI, have been restored.

It is worth noting that as soon as Justice Isa was leaving the Middle Temple in London, an attempt was made to block his vehicle and open its door.
