Pakistan sends 24th relief consignment to Gaza

LAHORE: Pakistan on Monday dispatched 100 tons of relief consignment for the people of Gaza from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore through Egypt, state-run APP reported.

According to the details, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) coordinated the dispatch of Alkhidmat Foundation’s relief consignment through a chartered flight.

“The relief consignment included flour, rice, sweet corns, chickpeas, ready-to-eat meals, cooking oil, and fruit cocktails,” the officials said.

This shipment marks Pakistan’s 24th humanitarian aid consignment to Gaza, bringing the total relief sent to 2,327 tons, in accordance with the Prime Minister’s directive.

A send-off ceremony was held at the airport, attended by officials from NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), and representatives of Alkhidmat Foundation.
