ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to convene an all-party conference by bringing together like-minded political parties against the recent increase in the prices of petroleum products. This decision was announced by Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar during a press conference in Islamabad.
He said that the government has increased the prices of petroleum products exceptionally. Due to the tension in Iran, there has definitely been a fluctuation in prices at the global level. Prices in Nigeria have not increased so much, but Pakistan has even surpassed Vietnam.
Taimur Saleem Jhagra said that the government has not been able to take any effective steps for the economy in the last four years. Salman Akram Raja said that protest marches will be held against inflation. Aleema Bibi has given a call on April 7. It is expected that 10,000 of our organizational officials will gather in Adiala. On April 9, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will hold a rally in Rawalpindi. However, if permission for the rally is not granted, there will be protests on the streets.
Meanwhile, while holding a press conference with other officials at the Lahore Press Club, Salman Akram Raja said that Pakistan is currently in the doomsday sky and the increase in the prices of petroleum products will destroy the entire society and economy. It is completely wrong to increase prices by justifying the war with Iran.
Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Moin Riaz Qureshi said that since last year, he has raised his voice strongly on the wheat crisis and the sugar scandal, but the government has not responded.
