ISLAMABAD: A significant increase in crude oil prices has been recorded in the global market.
The price of WTI crude oil has reached $111.5 per barrel after an increase of 11.42%.
Similarly, the price of Brent crude has also increased by 7.87%, after which the price has reached $109 per barrel.
According to experts, this increase in oil prices is being seen due to increasing tensions and supply concerns at the global level, which is likely to have an impact on economies around the world.
It should be noted that in Pakistan too, the prices of petroleum products have increased to a record high, which is likely to make electricity, gas and essential commodities more expensive.
