ISLAMABAD: The long drought in the country has ended, rain has started in various areas and snowfall has started in the upper areas.
The Meteorological Department has predicted more rain and snowfall. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the mountains in Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.
Rain and snowfall with strong winds are expected in Murree and Galiyat, fog and smog will prevail in eastern Punjab and upper Sindh.
Rain is expected in Attock, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Tala Gang, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Sargodha, Khushab, Faisalabad, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Gujarat, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Multan, Jhang, D.G. Khan and Toba Tek Singh.
Rain and snowfall in the mountains is likely in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Malakand, Buner. In Balochistan, rain is expected in Chaghi, Noshki, Washuk, Panjgur, Kech, Godar, Kalat and Mastung.
The Meteorological Department has forecast rain and snowfall in the mountains in Quetta, Ziarat, Harnai, Chaman, Musakhel and Zhob.
