ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of the country tomorrow, while it will be very cold in the hilly areas in the morning and night.
Fog has been forecast in the plain areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the morning and night.
During the last 24 hours, the weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country and extremely cold in the hilly areas, however, fog was prevalent in some plain districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The minimum temperature was recorded at minus 11 in Skardu. According to the Meteorological Department, rain and snowfall are expected in different parts of the country from December 5.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir along with strong winds and snowfall in the mountains. Rain and snowfall is also predicted on December 6.
A strong westerly wind is likely to enter the country between December 6 and 10. According to experts, active northwesterly winds and moisture from the Arabian Gulf will cause this long series of rains.
