Pakistan will rise higher from here: Field Marshal Asim Munir

ISLAMABAD: Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir has said that Pakistan will fly higher from here.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, while talking to reporters informally at the Presidential Palace, said that everything is fine and everything is in front of you.

He said that things are going well, and Pakistan will fly higher from here.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif sent the summary of the appointment of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir as Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces to the Presidential Palace after approval.

According to the summary sent to the Presidential Palace, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir will be the Chief of Army Staff as well as the Chief of Defense Forces. And this appointment is for five years.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir will be the country’s first Chief of Defense Forces. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also approved a 2-year extension in the tenure of the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu.
