ISLAMABAD: Easter is being celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion across Pakistan. The official Easter celebrations commenced on the night between Saturday and Sunday, marked by special prayers, church services, and family gatherings.
In major cities like Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, churches are organizing midnight Easter services, where worshippers will gather to commemorate Jesus Christ’s resurrection.
The Pakistan-Christian community is preparing for Easter with traditional festivities, including decorating churches with flowers and singing hymns.
Easter symbolizes the triumph of life over death and is considered the second most important festival after Christmas for Pakistan’s Christian community.
