ISLAMABAD: Despite the restoration of global internet connectivity following the recent submarine cable break, Pakistan continues to experience disruptions in internet services.

As per the details, although this issue has been resolved in many parts of the world, internet speed in Pakistan is significantly affected.

Citizens across the country are facing difficulties as mobile apps face frequent outages and download speeds slow to a crawl. This ongoing issue has caused a lot of inconvenience to users.

The disruption began when a worldwide internet cable failure caused widespread connectivity issues.

Although Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) announced that services have been fully restored, users in Pakistan are still facing slow internet speeds.

On July 31, the situation worsened when PTCL‘s internet system suffered another outage, severely affecting online banking and other digital businesses. While addressing this issue, the general internet speed in Pakistan has lagged behind expectations.

Experts are constantly investigating the reasons behind the slowdown, but for now, users are suffering from slow internet speeds and frequent service interruptions.
