ISLAMABAD: The federal government is anticipated to lower petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan for the first half of August 2024 due to a drop in international rates. The revised prices will be announced tonight and will come into effect on August 1, 2024.
Reports indicate that petroleum prices in Pakistan are expected to decrease by up to Rs11 per liter, following significant increases in the previous two reviews.

According to recent reports, petroleum prices in Pakistan may drop by up to Rs11 per liter, following substantial increases in the last two price reviews. If approved, the new petrol price in Pakistan would be Rs275.10 while the diesel price would be Rs271.63 in Pakistan from August 1, 2024.
