KARACHI: The list of alleged people buying drugs from the Anmol alias Pinky has been widely spread across social media platforms, as more than 300 people are being named in the list.
A viral document circulating online under the title “Pinky Leaks” has sparked widespread speculation and concern across Pakistan after reportedly revealing details of individuals linked to the high-profile narcotics case involving a suspect identified as Anmol alias “Pinky.”
The spreadsheet, which has rapidly spread through social media platforms and messaging applications, allegedly contains around 325 entries, including phone numbers, addresses, CNIC details, and contact names of various individuals from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
According to reports, the people connected to the alleged network include businessmen, CEOs of private companies, politicians, bureaucrats, and influential people from different cities.
Investigative sources also claimed that some personalities from the showbiz industry have also been allegedly associated with this network.
During the briefing, the committee was told that the investigative agencies have obtained records of the names of the suspects, phone numbers, and residential addresses of the suspects, while further investigations are underway. According to officials, the names of any personalities have not been officially revealed so far.
On the other hand, the police have also started action against Anmol Pinky in the case of an attempt to make a fake identity card. According to the police, the accused had allegedly tried to obtain an identity card in the name of “Saira Shaukat”, but the attempt was unsuccessful.
Police officials say that a letter has been sent to NADRA for legal action while further investigations into the case are underway.
