PM thanks Trump for deescalating Pak-India tensions

ISLAMABAD: A special ceremony was organized at the Pakistan Monument in celebration of the Day of Gratitude, with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif as the chief guest.

The ceremony was attended by leading military figures, including Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee; Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Air Staff Marshal Zaheer Babbar Sidhu and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf.

The ceremony held at the Pakistan Monument began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. At the beginning, the hosts said that we are grateful to Allah Almighty that once again right has prevailed over wrong. This is not just a military victory but a victory of the entire nation for which we all prostrate before the Lord.

On this occasion, warplanes performed their performance in the skies, on which slogans of Pakistan Zindabad were raised.

The Prime Minister paid tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country, saying that the nation is grateful to Allah Almighty for the great victory.

He also highlighted the significance of May 10, when Pakistan’s forces achieved a remarkable success against the enemy. Military Success The ceremony was a celebration of Pakistan’s military success, which included the shooting down of six enemy aircraft by the Pakistan Air Force.

The Prime Minister praised the country’s falcons for their bravery and skill, saying that they shot down India’s Rafale, MiGs, and drones.

The Prime Minister said that the world is talking about the success of Pakistan’s forces, and that Pakistan‘s response changed the entire scenario in just a few hours. He stressed that Pakistan’s military success will serve to send the enemy a strong message, and that Pakistan will not be intimidated.

Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended gratitude to brotherly countries, especially US President Donald Trump, for their support in brokering a ceasefire between Pakistan and India.

“I especially thank Trump for his brave leadership and averting a long-scale conflict in this region,” he said while addressing a ceremony related to Youm-e-Tashakur.
