LAHORE: The brother of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member of the Punjab Assembly Bibi Wadiri and the maternal uncle of Punjab Assembly member Mian Imran Javed have passed away.
According to family sources, Hafiz Ziaullah, brother of leader PML-N Bibi Wadiri, passed away today. His funeral prayers were offered in his native area of Chishtian after Maghrib prayers at Jamia Mazahir-ul-Uloom Sugar Mill Road near Matiana Hospital.
Sources say that a large number of political leaders, citizens, party workers, relatives and local people attended the funeral prayers.
According to league sources, various party leaders and public figures expressed their condolences to Bibi Wadiri and Mian Imran Javed and prayed for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks.
It should be noted that Mian Imran Javed is a member of the provincial assembly from Lahore’s PP-163 constituency, while his mother Bibi Wadiri has been elected as a member of the Punjab Assembly on reserved seats for women.
