Court orders DC to decide on PTI Liaquat Bagh rally

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has received the order issued by the High Court Rawalpindi bench regarding its rally in Liaquat Bagh on April 9 to the DC Office Rawalpindi.

The order was received by Secretary General PTI District Rawalpindi Khan Aqil Khan Advocate to the DC Office.

The High Court order has directed the DC Rawalpindi to take an immediate decision on the request for the rally to be held in Liaquat Bagh tomorrow.

This order was issued by the High Court yesterday on the request of PTI. PTI leaders say that they are ready to hold the rally under constitutional and legal procedures and are determined to give their message to the people.

According to sources, the DC Office Rawalpindi is preparing to issue a decision soon so that the arrangements for the rally can be made formally.
