ISLAMABAD: Applications for the Private Hajj 2026 Scheme can be submitted from today, according to a notification from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Under this scheme, 37,903 new pilgrims will be eligible to apply this year, in addition to the 22,097 registered pilgrims left behind last year.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs says that private Hajj operators have been instructed to give priority to the pilgrims left behind last year.
In this regard, an affidavit will also be taken from private Hajj operators stating that they have completed the registration of all registered persons from last year.
According to the notification, the total quota for the Private Hajj Scheme has been fixed at 60,000. Sources say that under this quota, 37,903 new applicants will be included, along with last year’s 22,097 pilgrims.
A day earlier was the last day for Hajj 2026 registration for pilgrims who missed out last year, as the portal has now closed.
