ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Information Secretary Raoof Hassan was arrested from Islamabad on Monday. Islamabad police arrested a senior PRI leader during a raid at the party secretariat in Islamabad’s sector G-8.
A heavy contingent of police, led by SSP Hassan Jahangir Wattoo, has arrived at the PTI headquarters and has surrounded it.
Taking on X, PTI said, “It’s absolutely shameful how Islamabad Police continues to completely mock and disregard every law in this country. Law of the jungle is reigning over Pakistan!”

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that Islamabad police also confiscated the computers and records as well from the party secretariat.
Videos on social media showed a substantial police contingent, including female officers, was involved in the operation. These officers also detained several female PTI activists and other staff members at the secretariat.
