PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has formed an Advisory Council to manage the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s affairs, which shall be headed by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
The council members will include the party’s senior leaders, including Salman Akram Raja, Asad Qaiser, Aqibullah Khan, and Provincial President Junaid Akbar.
Sources say the composition of the council could be increased with more members with the approval of the party founder. This comes after senior leadership of the party approved a proposal put forward by Salman Akram Raja and Aleema Khan.
The Advisory Council’s key mandate is to offer advice and assistance to the Chief Minister in mastering the intricacies of governance and ensuring the enforcement of the party agenda in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
