PTI gears up for budget day protest in NA

Court orders DC to decide on PTI Liaquat Bagh rally

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has completed its preparations for protest on the occasion of budget 2025-26 presentation in the National Assembly on Tuesday.

Sources claims that PTI is planning an effective protest against the budget, while an important consultative meeting at 3 pm today has been called by the opposition party.

The party’s senior leadership and Members Parliament have been instructed to attend the meeting as the gathering will focus on raising a strong voice inside Parliament as well as possible protests on the streets.

Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar said that we  will not accept this budget under any circumstances. There is no outline of ending inflation and austerity in the budget.

The government has not taken any serious steps for economic reforms Barrister Gohar said while adding that the country’s economy is already in a critical situation.

Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Junaid Akbar said that PTI’s parliamentary team will sit together in an important meeting at 3 pm. The current budget will neither provide relief to the people nor stabilize the economy.
