ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has once again filed a new application for the medical examination of its founding chairman Imran Khan.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, while talking to journalists, said that the information coming out regarding Imran Khan’s health is insufficient and worrisome, which is why the legal route has been taken.
Barrister Gohar said that the government unnecessarily delayed in informing about Imran Khan’s health and the information provided was also incomplete.
He demanded that the personal doctors of the founder PTI be given immediate access to him so that the concerns regarding his health can be eliminated.
He said that when federal ministers themselves do not stand by their statements, what assurance can they give about the founder PTI.
On the other hand, senior PTI leader Asad Qaiser strongly criticized the government’s stance while holding a press conference in Swabi.
He said that government ministers have been continuously lying about Imran Khan’s health, which is increasing doubts among the public.
Asad Qaiser raised the question of how claims of transparency can be proven true if the Chief Minister of a province cannot be allowed to meet Imran Khan.
