LAHORE: Unknown persons have shot and killed Khalid Pathan, Vice President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Youth Wing West Punjab.
According to initial reports, Khalid Pathan was shot dead while he was going somewhere as per his routine and was attacked by unknown persons. The attack was so cowardly that Khalid Pathan died on the spot.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly condemned this barbarity and has demanded the immediate arrest of the killers by the authorities.
A PTI spokesperson said in a statement that this murder is not a problem of any individual but of the entire party. The murder of a peaceful and young leader like Khalid Pathan is a serious crime that requires immediate action.
PTI has strongly appealed to bring those responsible for this murder to justice and said that this incident reflects the growing unrest and lack of rule of law in the province.
PTI leaders said that this murder is a reflection of the fact that there is no safe environment for youth in the province, that the lives of innocent youth are taken away every day, and that the government and administration are failing to control this situation.
