LAHORE: The Punjab Environmental Protection Department (Mehakma Tahafuz-e-Maholiyat) has also formally extended the date for putting green stickers on vehicles. The new date is now June 30, 2026.
This gives vehicle owners more time to comply with environmental regulations aimed at curtailing pollution caused by vehicles.
The green sticker project is a further initiative of the efforts put in by Punjab to ensure a cleaner environment, free from polluted air, by regulating and controlling vehicle emissions. All vehicles require a green sticker to ensure compliance with set environmental standards.
Vehicle owners are encouraged to take advantage of the extension and to quickly complete the sticker placing process to avoid legal or regulatory problems.
For more information, car owners can refer to the Punjab Environment Protection Department or log on to their website.
