ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the Senate Raja Nasir Abbas has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic explosion in the Khadija Al-Kubra Mosque and the martyrdom of innocent worshippers.
He said that I am deeply saddened and pained. This type of terrorist act in the federal capital is not only a proof of a serious failure in protecting human lives, but it is also a big question mark on the performance of the administration.
I condemn this barbaric and cowardly attack in the strongest terms and express my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, while praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Targeting places of worship is a direct attack on humanity, religion and social values, which cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
I strongly appeal to the conscious and courageous youth of Islamabad to move forward in this critical hour by showing proof of humanity.
