GUJRANWALA: The continuous increase in LPG prices in Gujranwala has further aggravated the difficulties faced by residents already struggling with gas shortages and low pressure.
According to local reports, LPG is being sold at prices ranging between Rs520 and Rs550 per kilogram in various parts of the city. In remote areas and villages, the price has reportedly climbed to as high as Rs600 per kilogram.
Citizens have expressed concern over the sharp increase in prices, saying that gas load shedding and low pressure had already created problems for households, while the rising cost of LPG has placed an additional burden on domestic budgets.
Residents have urged the government and local administration to take immediate notice of the situation, control LPG prices, and take strict action against those involved in illegal profiteering.
Consumers have called for effective monitoring of the market to ensure the availability of LPG at official rates and to provide relief to the public.
