Saudi Arabia imposes visa ban on 14 countries, including Pakistan

Saudi Arabia introduces new rental rules

ISLAMABAD: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has imposed a temporary visa ban on 14 countries, including Pakistan, during the Hajj season.

According to sources, the ban will apply to Umrah, business and family visas and the visa ban is likely to end by mid-June.

Diplomatic sources have said that Umrah visa holders can enter Saudi Arabia until April 13.

The sources also said that the list of visa bans includes Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Nigeria, Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tunisia and Yemen.

Further, sources have revealed that despite the ban, people residing in Saudi Arabia may face a five-year ban.
