ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Maulana Salimullah Khan Tarakai, passed away, which spread grief in the party.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) President Maulana Fazlur Rehman and spokesperson Aslam Ghauri have expressed their heartfelt sorrow and grief over his death.
According to a statement issued by the JUI’s central media cell, Aslam Ghauri said that his heart is deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of my brother, Maulana Salimullah Khan Tarakai.
He said that I have lost a loyal, courageous, and sincere colleague, whose absence will be felt for a long time.
Aslam Ghauri said that the deceased was a firm ideological friend and a serious leader of the party. He had a decades-long friendship with him and he was steadfast in his principled stance and ideological politics in every era.
Maulana Salimullah Khan Tarakai rendered invaluable services to the party, which will always be remembered.
JUI-F spokesperson prayed for the deceased and said that may Allah Almighty accept the religious, political and social services of Maulana Tarakai and grant him a high position in the realm of mercy.
