LAHORE: The Sindh government has begun preparations to introduce a ‘Youth Card’ which will create new opportunities for young people throughout the province.
The minister announced that the ‘Youth Card‘ will launch before June 2026 because PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari wants to use the program to support youth development throughout Sindh.
The Sports Department has received its assignment to create a system for implementing its work. The Sind Secretariat meeting, which Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar chaired.
The meeting included senior officials, who were Sports Secretary Munawar Ali Mahesar and Director Asad Ishaq. Sardar Mahar asked the Sports Secretary to create a system which would provide maximum educational advantages to eligible youth while enabling the highest number of youths to receive education and skills training, job opportunities and scholarships, and sports resources.
