Six killed in horrific bus-vehicle collision in Jhang

BHAKKAR: A horrific accident took place on Jhang Road near Mankera, where a bus collided with a car, resulting in the death of 6 people, including 3 children, here on Sunday.

Rescue officials claimed that a woman was also injured in the tragic incident, who was immediately shifted to THQ Mankera for medical attention.

Rescue officials say that all those killed in the car were members of the same family, who were on their way to meet their loved ones from Mankera.

Earlier, at least five wedding guests were killed and 12 injured in a collision between a car and a truck in Nawabshah.

The incident took place in Nawabshah where a car carrying wedding guests collided with a truck, initially killing two people.

However, three more succumbed to their injuries, bringing the death toll to five, and 12 others were injured.

Apart from this, the police officials say that the condition of three injured is critical while the truck driver has been arrested.
