HYDERABAD: Four people died after a passenger bus and a trailer bumped into each other on the Karachi-Hyderabad M9 motorway. The accident took place near Loni Kot, where the bus and trailer crashed, leading to four fatalities and several injuries.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene and transported the injured to Noori Abadi Trauma Center for treatment. Police reports suggest that the crash occurred because the bus driver fell asleep while driving the wheel. Following the accident, the trailer overturned, disrupting traffic flow.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the accident and instructed that medical care should be provided to those who are injured. Earlier this month, a similar accident on the M9 motorway involving a mini truck and a trailer resulted in six deaths and four injuries near Lunikot in Jamshoro district.
The deceased in the recent accident have been identified as Nanji Thakur (28), Imdad Hussain Khoso (30), Amerji Kacchi (28), Ramesh Kacchi (35), Jetan Thakur, and Ramesh Thakur, all from Khuwaja Stop in Tando Allahyar district.
Noncareless driving and violation of traffic rules often result in such incidents, not only taking the lives of individuals but also affecting others. Such incidents should be taken as lessons to protect the lives of ourselves as well as others.
