Six militants neutralized in Panjgur operation

PANJGUR: Security forces killed six Indian-sponsored terrorists in an operation in Panjgur and recovered arms and explosives from their possession.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district of Balochistan on the intervening night of June 3-4.

During the operation, security forces effectively targeted several hideouts of the terrorists, and after a fierce exchange of fire, six alleged Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed.

Weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle were also recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists. According to security agencies, the slain individuals were involved in several terrorist acts in the area.

Clearance and search operations are underway in the area to eliminate the presence of any other terrorists.

In line with the vision of “Commitment to Stability” under the National Action Plan approved by the Federal Apex Committee, security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their counter-terrorism campaign with full intensity until the complete elimination of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
