SNGPL denies reports of low pressure in Rawalpindi

Gas Levy Reduction Likely for Industries After IMF Approval

RAWALPINDI: In a recent development, Sui Northern Pipelines Ltd. (SNGPL) has denied the reports of low gas pressure in Rawalpindi stating that gas pressure is stable and no disturbance has been seen during the meal times.

SNGPL spokesperson from Rawalpindi regional office stated that the complaints are false and the consumers are receiving proper gas pressures.

This statement came in response to local media reports alleging complaints of residents receiving low gas pressures in some areas of Rawalpindi.

To ensure residents’ comfort General Manager Umar Hayat instructed senior SNGPL teams to inspect the situation in the network’s tail-end areas.

During the inspections, the technicians checked gas pressures at various locations and confirmed that households were receiving a consistent gas supply, particularly during meal times.

The spokesperson emphasized that SNGPL aims to provide 24/7 services to facilitate residents in emergencies.
