ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan (FCCP) officers who work between BPS-17 and BPS-22 will maintain their financial benefits because the court mandated point-to-point transport conversion and raised judicial compensation for all staff members.
The office order under No. F.11/8/2025/Admin/FCCP established the decision through powers granted to him by Article 208 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973.
The approval originates from the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s March 31, 1993, decision in Civil Appeal No. 107-K of 1989, which the Finance Division used as its basis for instructions issued on November 25, 2025.
The Compulsory Monetization of Transport program, which received approval, will provide court officers with specific monthly payments of transportation expenses.
The Hon’ble Chief Justice approved a Special Judicial Allowance, which will benefit all Federal Constitutional Court employees. The BPS-02 to BPS-22 revised allowance rates have been established as multiple times of the current basic pay.
The office order will take effect from November 14, 2025, and will remain in force until further notice. The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan’s decision received endorsement from the Hon’ble Chief Justice, according to the notification.
Supreme Court employees have shown disappointment because Federal Constitutional Court officers continue to receive benefits that they believe should match their own allowance and benefit packages.
