PESHAWAR: Motorway Police has released an advisory for motorists travelling on Monday for different routes, according to the spokesperson.
The Motorway Police has announced traffic advisories in the form of temporary road restrictions and traffic diversions on different motorways owing to heavy rains and roadworks.
Motorway Police spokesperson said that the entry of passenger vehicles has been temporarily blocked near Charsadda at kilometre 504 on M-1 Motorway due to heavy rains.
The police have asked people to make sure to check the weather and traffic advisories before setting out on any journey. It has also advised the people to drive carefully and follow all the safety guidelines.
The traffic has been diverted at different locations on E-35 Hazara Motorway due to repair work on the high-voltage power line.
As stated by the Motorway Police, the traffic is being diverted near kilometre 96 southbound main carriageway, kilometre 95 southbound near Bedrah, and kilometre 84 northbound near Qalandarabad.
These measures have been adopted to ensure safety during roadwork.
The Motorway Police has also advised the citizens not to travel unnecessarily. It has further advised the motorists to strictly follow the traffic advisory.
