Two Hazaras killed, three injured in Quetta firing

QUTTA: The wave of terrorism has resumed in Quetta, two Hazaras were killed and three injured in a firing incident. Intense protests and traffic was suspended on the Western Bypass against the incident.

Two Hazaras were killed and three injured in firing by unknown persons in the Hazarganji area of ​​Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.

According to police sources, the injured were immediately shifted to the Trauma Center Civil Hospital, where their condition is said to be critical.

Immediately after the incident, hundreds of Hazaras took to the streets and started a protest by closing the Western Bypass for all types of traffic.

The Balochistan Shia Conference strongly condemned the incident and called it a massacre of innocent people. The conference spokesperson said that the Hazara community is being targeted once again, the government’s first duty is to protect the lives and property of the people, but the administration seems to be failing.

The protesters are demanding immediate and effective action against the killers and protection for the Hazara community. Shops in the area have been closed due to the tense situation and security is on high alert.
