What 2026 holds for Pakistan: Key astrological predictions

ISLAMABAD: As the world steps into 2026 after the close of 2025, astrologers predict that the new year may bring major changes and tough challenges for Pakistan, ranging from political and economic shifts to social and security developments that could shape the country’s direction in the months ahead.

Astrologer Samia Khan says that although global tensions will increase, the situation in Pakistan is likely to remain relatively better because India is suffering from internal political and economic problems and will try to avoid a major conflict.

She predicts a sensitive period of global unrest after February, but Pakistan and its surrounding region will remain relatively safe.

Imran Khan’s 2026

Referring to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, Samia said that there are some possibilities through a deal by the second week of January and February, but after that it is difficult.

Economically, there are chances of foreign investment, industrial activities, and employment opportunities increasing in 2026, which will strengthen the economy.

There is a question mark over Imran Khan’s political situation and the chances of him coming out of jail seem low.

According to astrologer Haider Ali Jafri, January and February 2026 could be a period of global political tensions and wrong decisions. Pakistan’s border areas, especially with Afghanistan and India, will remain tense.

While the Ukraine war and the situation in the South China Sea will also remain tense. 2026 will be a year of political changes for Pakistan, in which new leadership and political thinking are likely to emerge.

The Muslim world will face challenges in the coming years, but after that, unity and significant changes in the world order are expected.

According to astrologer Haider Ali Jafri, the next 9 to 10 years will be a period of new political alliances, leadership and economic projects, in which Pakistan can emerge with a new role, but first it will have to face many difficulties.
