Badshah apology has come after strong public criticism over his recently released Haryanvi song ‘Ttteri’.

The Indian singer and rapper shared a video message on social media saying that some people felt hurt by the song’s lyrics and visuals.

Complaint filed after song release

The song was released in the Haryanvi language. However, it soon sparked criticism from some residents of Panchkula city in Haryana.

According to reports, a complaint was filed because of the lyrics and the way the song was filmed. Critics said the content was inappropriate.

Singer says he never wanted to hurt anyone

In his video message, Badshah apology included an explanation about his background. He said he belongs to Haryana and respects its culture.

The rapper added that people who know him understand his strong connection with the state, including its lifestyle, language, and traditions.

He also said he would never want to say anything disrespectful about women or children.

Song to be removed from platforms

Badshah apology also included a promise to remove the controversial song.

In the caption of his video, he said the track would be taken down from all online platforms.

The singer expressed hope that people of Haryana would forgive him and consider him as their own.
