Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz Reveal Their Secret to Raising Happy Children

Nida Yasir parenting advice

Pakistani television host Nida Yasir and actor-director Yasir Nawaz recently shared their thoughts on parenting, offering viewers a candid glimpse into how they nurture their family and maintain strong relationships with their children.

During a recent episode of Good Morning Pakistan, the couple was joined by their son Balaaj, where the discussion focused on the connection between parents and children. The conversation explored how trust, discipline, and friendship can coexist within a healthy family environment.

Speaking about a father’s role, Yasir Nawaz said he believes children should feel comfortable around their parents instead of growing up in fear. He recalled visiting a relative’s home where everyone became tense before the father arrived, explaining that such an atmosphere should be avoided. According to him, fathers should build friendly relationships with their children while also maintaining enough authority to guide them when necessary.

Yasir further explained that his own father balanced warmth with discipline. Although they shared a close bond, he always respected his father’s authority, a lesson he believes helped shape his upbringing. He added that occasional firmness reminds children of boundaries, but kindness and open communication should define everyday parenting.

Nida Yasir also spoke about the dynamics within their household, revealing that their daughter Sila, being the family’s only girl, often succeeds in getting her wishes accepted more easily than her brothers. She admitted that the boys usually have to work harder to convince their parents.

The discussion resonated with many viewers, sparking conversations online about modern parenting styles and family relationships.
