KARACHI: Pakistani Box Office hit and the country’s most successful film, The Legend of Maula Jatt, is set to release in neighboring India on October 2, 2024, (Wednesday), the film’s Instagram page confirmed.
In a social post, the film’s official account wrote, “The Legend of Maula Jatt’s legacy lives on! Catch the cinematic masterpiece in Indian theatres from 2nd October 2024. Book your tickets now!”
Moreover, the post mentioned that the cinema lists will be shared soon.

Fawad Khan starer TLOMJ was released on October 13, 2022, across Pakistan and later released worldwide, making history by securing the Rs400 crore mark at the Box Office by August 2023.
The film is an adaptation and a soft reboot of the 1979 Lollywood film Maula Jatt, which also broke records at the time.
The film was initially slated to be released in India in December 2022. However, the release was postponed indefinitely, leaving fans disappointed.
Following the release of TLOMJ in India, it will become the first Pakistani film to hit Indian theatres in over a decade. Before this, Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol was released on August 31, 2011.
