The Ramzan Chhipa Zombied Promotion campaign has sparked intense discussion online after Filmwala Productions released a promotional clip featuring the well-known social worker alongside a zombie-themed character.
“Zombied,” an upcoming Pakistani horror-comedy film, is scheduled for release on Eid ul Adha. The movie is directed by Nabeel Qureshi and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza under the banner of Filmwala Productions. The film stars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles and blends romance, comedy, horror, and action elements.
The latest promotional video features Ramzan Chhipa delivering a humorous warning about drug addiction while interacting with a zombie character. Dressed in his signature green shalwar kameez, Chhipa appeared fully involved in the unusual campaign, giving dramatic expressions throughout the clip.
However, the collaboration quickly became a hot topic on social media, where users shared mixed reactions. While some viewers appreciated the creative marketing attempt, many others questioned whether the social worker should participate in entertainment promotions.
Several users flooded the comment section with jokes and sarcastic remarks. Some called the collaboration “unexpected,” while others suggested Chhipa should focus on charity work instead of acting in promotional videos. A few social media users also defended him, saying the campaign only needed better creative execution and social media direction.
Despite the criticism, the promotional clip has successfully generated online buzz ahead of the film’s Eid ul Adha release, helping “Zombied” remain a trending topic among Pakistani entertainment fans.
