ISLAMABAD: Pakistani cricketers Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim are once again going to retire from international cricket, the official announcement of which is expected soon.

Received the award. Amir had earlier retired from international cricket in 2020.

Both the players returned to international cricket to participate in T20 World Cup 2024.

Imad explained his return by saying, “We came back for one reason: not just to play. Me and Amir came back last time to win the World Cup. We played in the semis of the T20 World Cup. There were finals and finals, which is a major achievement.”

He added that his return was motivated by his desire to represent Pakistan at the highest level and end his career on a high note, aiming to make the nation happy.

Despite their high hopes, Pakistan failed to advance beyond the first round of the T20 World Cup, leading to the retirement of Amir and Imad once again. However, he will continue to play in various cricket leagues.
