SYDENY: The preliminary Australian squad for the T20 World Cup has been announced.
According to Cricket Australia, Pat Cummins, Cameron Green and Cooper Connolly have returned to the squad, all three players were not part of the team in the series against India.
Chief selector Cricket Australia George Bailey, while announcing the squad, said that this is a preliminary squad, and changes will be made to the squad if necessary.
The squad includes captain Mitchell Marsh, Xavier Bartlett, Tim David, Cooper Connolly, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Ingles, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Cohenman, Matthew Short, Marcus Stoinis and Adam Zampa.
The Australian cricket chief selector said that the squad for the three-match T20 series against Pakistan will be announced later.
