ISLAMABAD: Pakistan cricket team’s star batsman Babar Azam, while recalling the happy memories he had during his time in the Big Bash League (BBL), said that he is going back with good moments.
Sydney Sixers shared Babar Azam’s statement on social networking site X, in which he thanked the Sydney Sixers fans, who supported him during his performance.
Babar Azam added: “I also sincerely thank the Sydney Sixers coaches and players, who made this a wonderful experience with me. I have enjoyed it a lot here, but unfortunately due to national duty, I have to leave the team.”
It should be remembered that earlier, Sydney Sixers had announced Babar Azam’s unavailability in a statement on social networking site X. Sydney Sixers said that Babar Azam has been immediately summoned to the Pakistan cricket team’s camp, and he has been recalled for his next assignments.
The Sydney Sixers are scheduled to face the Hobart Hurricanes in the Challenger Final tomorrow, and the team that wins the Challenger will face the Perth Scorchers in the BBL Final on Sunday.
